Timely Tools Limited is an engineering company focuses on high quality punch & die tooling and precision machined components. The company incorporated in 1980 and the primary function of the company is making tools for manufacturing organizations. The company is in the process of expansion and searching to train CNC machine operators both in Mill and Lathe machines and also extend engineering skills in Toolmaking and EDM operation.

About the Opportunity

Mō Te Huarahi  

Timely Tools Ltd appreciates team work and helping young enthusiastic individuals to upscale their skills with a large range of machining processes to gain experience and their apprenticeship. To start you’ll be gaining general workshop familiarisation and move on from there.

About You          

Mōu 

For success in this apprenticeship you will need to be a good team player with a keen to learn attitude. You will also need –

• A passion for engineering and toolmaking
• A pre-trade is not required but you must enjoy being hands on
• NCEA Level 2 in English and Maths
• Driving Licence not required for the role but you will need reliable transport options to get to work on time

Ngā Hāora  

Hours will be discussed with you at interview stage.  Standard Hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.00pm.

Qualification

Te Tohu  

New Zealand Certificate in Mechanical Engineering with strands in Fitting and Machining and Toolmaking
