Sokoza Ltd design, build, engineer and fabricate to the highest quality build standard the following light to medium engineered products.

About the Opportunity

Mō Te Huarahi  

This is a varied role and you will start in the steel processing side – cutting and matching profiles to a job.  From there you will gain broad experience across welding, fabrication, production and assembly.  You’ll be trained by experience and qualified team members.

About You          

Mōu 

To be considered for this opportunity you will either need a relevant pre-trade, welding qualification or some workshop experience.

You will also need –

• NCEA Level 2 in Maths and English
• To be reliable with good timekeeping
• Be prepared to ask questions and for help when required
• A sense of humour to fit in with the team
• Keen to learn and enjoy variety in your daily work
• Restricted Drivers Licence to start - with the aim of a Full Licence to be able to drive company vehicles

Hours    

Ngā Hāora  

The hours will be discussed with you at interview with Sokoza.  Standard hours are 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Qualification

Te Tohu  

New Zealand Certificate in Engineering Fabrication(Trade) (Level 4) with strand in Heavy Fabrication
