Ten4 is one of Northland’s largest and oldest transport engineering firms. We specialise in Transport Engineering and are LTSA Approved Manufacturers and Repairers which means we can certify and issue LT400 Certifications in-house for chassis repairs, load anchorages, log bolsters and towing connection. We also build drop siders, flat decks, steel and alloy truck and trailer bath tub bodies, transporters, tractor units, draw beams, drawbars, tow bars, motorhomes and horse trucks. We can lengthen or shorten wheelbases. Basically if it’s got wheels we can help you build it and keep it on the road!

Ten4 has experienced huge and sustained growth over the past 12 months, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon, so we’re after a new apprentice.
Training apprentices is not new territory for us as we’ve helped 7 staff to become qualified over the past ten years, two of whom are now part of our management team. So if you’re looking for secure employment with awesome long-term career prospects, we’d love to hear from you.
You will start with 3 days a week on a maintenance roster which involves cleaning vehicles and workshop and servicing equipment. The other 2 days a week will be working with a specified technician who will oversee the apprenticeship and teach skills like cutting, folding & welding.
