About the Opportunity
Mō Te Huarahi
Fabrication work is varied and can include working with metals to create specific products, working from design engineers' drawings, measuring, cutting, bending and welding metals, and testing the finished products.
The training is tailored to the type of work you do and APC are very experienced in training apprentices.
The type of things you will be involved in are welding, light gauge mild steel, high quality finish for presentation displays, use of other metal shop tools, drills, etc, assemble and pack products. There is also the opportunity to learn laser-cutting and to use the brake press.
