On successful completion of this micro-credential, ākonga/learners will be able to apply health and safety knowledge and follow operational rules when using a chainsaw in non-commercial, non- forestry production environments, demonstrate safe and effective chainsaw operation including basic mechanical skills and hazard management, and comply with worksite procedures and industry-accepted practices for occasional chainsaw tasks.
