Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Prepare job components and make ready the machinery to undertake high level production tasks to meet customer requirements in one of the production areas of print finishing, machine bookbinding or hand bookbinding.
- Produce highly specialised production tasks to meet customer requirements and industry standards, in one of the production areas of print finishing, machine bookbinding or hand bookbinding.
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults and problems throughout the production process.- Assist with production planning including target setting, estimating production costs, and estimating production requirements.
- Assist with quality assurance of production, and sustainable environmental practices, utilising preferred industry methods
