Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Assess and minimise risk to self, others and plant equipment
- Apply knowledge of environmental issues, productivity, quality and performance improvement to a wood panel manufacturing operation.
Graduates of the Composite Panel Finishing strand will also be able to:
- Operate composite panel finishing plant and equipment to produce quality products and meet productivity requirements.
- Monitor production parameters and identify operating and equipment faults and take corrective actions required to control composite panel finishing plant and equipment.
