Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Assess and minimise risk to self, others and plant equipment.
- Apply knowledge of environmental issues, productivity, quality and performance improvement to a wood panel manufacturing operation.
Graduates of the Overlay Bonding strand will also be able to:
- Select, handle, and load raw materials used in overlay bonding from a production schedule.
- Carry out waste management and cleaning in an overlay bonding operation.-
- Apply machinery, equipment and technical processes to carry out tasks specific to overlay bonding.
