The Plastics Apprentice of the Year was awarded to Tiaan Ferreira (picture right) last month, at the Plastics NZ conference in Queenstown.
Tiaan, who is employed by Furntech in Auckland, received his award from Competenz Chief Executive Fiona Kingsford.
The other finalist for Apprentice of the Year was Harpreet Nagra from Sistema.
Convex NZ took home the award for Plastics Training Company of the Year ahead of three other finalists including EPL, Polymer Systems and Viscount Plastics.
