Mō Te Huarahi
Macweld range of services includes alloy, structural steel, gates and fencing, stainless steel, hand rails and more. This business has trained a number of apprentices and has the owners and other qualified trades to help you along the way and receive excellent training and support through your apprenticeship.
To start you’ll be working alongside a mentor learning the basics and getting those right - measuring, cutting steel, running a saw and welding. You’ll get to work in the workshop and out on site.
Mōu
There’s lots of variety on offer with this apprenticeship so you’ll need to be not only keen to learn but also keen to take on lots of different tasks – no two days will be the same here.

Hours of work will be discussed with you at interview stage with Macweld. Standard Hours are Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 4.30pm. Some opportunity for overtime and weekend work as you progress through the apprenticeship.
